The 15th anniversary of Payne Stewart’s passing

Payne Stewart wins the 1999 U.S. Open.

Fifteen years ago today, Payne Stewart passed away when the plane he was travelling in crashed in South Dakota. There were no survivors among the six people on board.

There are so many reasons why Stewart was great for the game of golf, and I just wanted to share this video from David Feherty back in 2005. It still hurts that he’s not around.
