Justin Rose first became known to a wide audience at the 1998 Open Championship where he finished tied for fourth as an amateur, holing out on the 18th from 50 yards out. His career went into a massive tailspin soon after though, missing cut after cut and having to go back to earn his European Tour card. He’s had a rough road as a professional, but in recent years, he’s become one of golf’s most consistent players, and arguably the best player in the world from tee to green.
