2013 GIFs of the Year: The Rage

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be posting my 2013 Golf GIF Roundups, broken down into several ‘Best Of’ categories. Today, we look back at some of the moments that made players erupt in a fit of rage.

We all know that golf is a frustrating game, and as you’ve seen above, it definitely gives us plenty of opportunities to unleash some anger when things don’t go the way we want them to. The good news is that the pros feel the exact same way, and while it might not be fun when you feel the need to fire a club or ball into the lake, it’s bloody entertaining when you watch someone else do it.
Below are the moments from 2013 that proved that even the best players in the world feel the need to rage from time to time. If you hover over each image, you’ll get a brief description of why it made the list.
Billy Horschel fires his ball away in disgust.

Charl Schwartzel angrily fires his putter off his bag.

Jason Kokrak doesn’t need his Titleist anymore.
Jordan Spieth hits a terrible putt at the Presidents Cup.
Spieth then hits himself in the head with his 5-iron.
Lee Westwood, not happy with this result.
Ricky Barnes just put it in the water at Sawgrass’ island 17th.
Rory also doesn’t need this ball anymore.

Gary Christian was so mad, he couldn’t even punt his ball correctly.

That’s the most emotion you’ll ever see out of Webb SImpson.
Ian Poulter isn’t thrilled that he just donated to the water at Sherwood.
